We are a startup construction company based in the GTA currently in the process of expanding our operations into 3D Construction Printing (3DCP), and seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to grow with our team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring low/high-rise residential, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Southern Ontario; as well as upcoming 3DCP projects beginning Q3 this year. The ideal candidate for the role is an effective communicator who can monitor and advise teams of onsite trades, and assist project managers in the coordination of schedules, materials, and heath & safety training/submittals. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all activity at sites to ensure teams are working together to complete projects while adhering to deadlines, specifications, and building codes.
  • Communicate scope of work requirements to foremen and onsite tradespersons \xe2\x80\x93 inhouse and subcontracted.
  • Monitor and supervise all personnel and subcontractor attendance, work quality, productivity, training, and submittals to ensure maximum workmanship and consistency while maintaining compliance with ISHA COR safety standards and practices.
  • Ensuring all project assets are operating in compliance to company, municipal and provincial safety policies, and regulations.
  • Support management in project planning, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, procurement, submittals, and basic CRM.
  • Assist project managers with all initial site visits and predelivery inspections; participate in meetings as required.
  • Create progress reports and coordinate all orientations, training, and document submittals with all personnel.
  • Prepare all \xe2\x80\x9cas-built\xe2\x80\x9d drawings from trades and addendum documentation for project managers.
  • Collaborate with office management and administrative teams to effectively perform duties.
  • Act as liaison between client operations and inspectors regarding compliance issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism by maintaining a high degree of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
  • All functions via Office365, internal ERP and QBO.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • Highly sociable, courteous, and professional.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and travel for work.
  • Exceptional math, writing, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented under the pressure of tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Experience with formal Health & Safety and Human Resources policies and systems an asset.
  • Advance knowledge of construction trades, processes, vendors, contractors, budgets, regulations, etc.
  • Effective time management and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Understands the importance client/B2B data and information confidentiality.
  • Willing to learn and grow with a dynamic, forward-thinking company in an ever-changing, high-demand industry.
Training:
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, manufacturing, construction, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Construction Supervision experience or internship required.
  • Training and experience working in various hands-on trades and industries an asset.
  • Training and experience with mid-to-heavy machinery an asset.
  • Proficiency with standard productivity and project management software, or ERP systems an asset.
  • Proficiency with Office365 and Adobe products a must.
  • A valid Ontario Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year Benefits:
