Join Gibraltar Construction's Growing Team on Vancouver Island!

This is an exciting new opportunity to join our expanding operations on the Island. With multiple projects recently awarded in

Nanaimo

, we're now looking to add a

Site Manager

to lead construction activities in the north of the Island.

We're seeking an

independent, hands-on leader

with experience running

commercial renovation projects

. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing schedules, subtrades, and quality control - while still being willing to roll up their sleeves and perform hands-on work when needed (doors, hardware, accessories, etc.).

You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team representing Gibraltar Construction, supported by our Project Management and Operations group. Daily reporting through our company apps is required to keep communication and progress on track.

Responsibilities

Manage site activities, subtrades, and material deliveries. Communicate with trades, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Complete and maintain daily site documentation. Perform hands-on work when needed (steel stud framing, T-bar, doors, hardware). Uphold safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in

construction / Commerical Preferred.

Strong communication and organisational skills. Positive, proactive attitude with ability to work independently. Understanding of office construction and renovation processes. Must have a

valid driver's licence, own vehicle

, and required PPE. Willingness to work occasional evening or extended shifts.

Schedule:

Full-time, primarily weekdays (occasional evenings/weekends).

Nanaimo & surrounding areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
