Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of construction processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem resolution. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and documentation. Review blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with design specifications. Prepare and manage budgets, including estimating costs for materials and labor. Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on-site. Train and mentor site staff in best practices for construction management and quality assurance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control processes. Proficiency in using construction management software (e.g., ProCore) and tools like Bluebeam for project documentation. Excellent skills in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
