Job Summary:



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Track Installation Superintendent

to join our growing infrastructure team. In this full-time,

on-site

position, you will oversee and coordinate field construction activities, ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective installation of track systems for

large-scale public infrastructure projects

, including LRT and other transit-related works.

The ideal candidate will bring

Key Responsibilities:



Ensure all construction activities are compliant with the

Project Agreement

, including

ECO Plan

,

Health and Safety Plan

, and applicable legislation. Oversee

interface management

between internal departments, adjacent work zones, and subcontractors. Coordinate scheduling of enabling and adjacent works across different construction segments. Maintain high standards of

quality control

, safety, and environmental compliance across job sites. Lead initiatives for

process improvement

to boost site productivity and efficiency. Represent project leadership in field meetings and stakeholder interactions. Interpret construction drawings and specifications for field crews, ensuring clear communication and execution. Support development and execution of

work plans

,

work packages

, and

resource schedules

. Manage on-site work execution to ensure alignment with engineering and design specifications. Support cost estimation, budget reviews, and project schedule development. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Project Communications Team. Monitor crew hours, shift duration, and performance to maintain budgetary targets and productivity. Ensure crew resource strategies align with project phases and seasonal work cycles. Attend daily crew pre-start meetings and maintain accurate records of tasks and attendance. Actively contribute to safety initiatives such as inspections, JHAs, near-miss reports, and onboarding. Monitor site logistics, access, equipment, and general work area readiness. Collaborate with field coordination team for accurate scheduling of inspections (concrete, survey, quality, safety, environmental). Maintain daily reporting and site documentation using project control software. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:



Post-secondary degree/diploma

in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade designation with equivalent work experience.

Minimum 3 years' experience

in heavy civil infrastructure projects--preferably in

LRT, rail, or transit

. Solid experience with

earthworks, concrete

,

removals

, and

heavy equipment operations

.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License

with a clean driving abstract (preferred). Physically capable of navigating active construction sites, including stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, and all-weather conditions.

Strong leadership with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams on active job sites. Deep knowledge of

Flexibility to manage multiple scopes and shifting project priorities simultaneously. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
