The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Contract Operations, the Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for creating, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting of construction schedules using NEWSTAR and other scheduling tools as required.

What you'll be responsible for day to day:

  • Assist in preparation and updating of baseline schedules and setup lots and lot schedules into NEWSTAR for each project.
  • Assist in preparation of Low Rise Project Production Schedule Report.
  • Coordinate & ensure schedule updates are done in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparation of Baseline vs. Actual Construction Schedule Reports.
  • Assist in preparation and tracking of Construction Status Reports.
  • Analyze Historical Construction Data as required.
  • Assist in uploading cost data to NEWSTAR for construction releases.
  • Support on NEWSTAR Vendor link queries from the trade partners as needed.
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
Who we are looking for:

Education: Project Management and any construction related certification is desired.

Experience: Experienced in working with Excel is required. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling is required. Experience in integrated scheduling in NEWSTAR and NEWSTAR Vendor link is desired.

Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Intermediate Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with MS Project desired
  • Experience with NEWSTAR highly desired
  • Understands concept of Project Management specifically in the area of construction scheduling
  • Detail Oriented and Accurate
  • Skilled in analytical problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
