to join our growing team. This is a key role for ensuring the safety and compliance of our job sites and fleet operations across a variety of high-risk construction projects, including asbestos abatement, demolition, and excavation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site safety inspections to ensure compliance with
COR Certification standards
and
WorkSafeBC regulations
Monitor and enforce adherence to all safety protocols and procedures
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
Provide coaching, support, and guidance to site supervisors and crews to maintain a strong safety culture
Oversee and manage
NSC (National Safety Code)
and
Fleet Compliance
including vehicle inspections, record-keeping, and preventative maintenance schedules
Track and follow up on outstanding safety items with due diligence and accountability
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of safety policies and procedures
Maintain an organized safety management system and ensure timely follow-up on all compliance issues
Qualifications:
Certified CSO with a strong understanding of
WorkSafeBC
regulations and
COR certification requirements
Experience in
asbestos abatement
,
demolition
, or
excavation
is strongly preferred
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in digital tools and systems for inspections, audits, and record-keeping
Valid Class 5 driver's license
