Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager / Project Development Lead to take ownership of all phases of construction projects--from initial planning and design through to final delivery. This dual-role position also includes leading the development of new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients, including proposal preparation and tender coordination.
The ideal candidate brings a solid background in construction management, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to finish
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
Lead and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Conduct site visits and monitor work progress and quality standards
Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise
Prepare regular progress reports and documentation
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and submittals
Work closely with estimating teams during bid preparation
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Proven ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale construction builds
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Excel)
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license
