COMPANY OVERVIEW

Domaco?Encocorp Construction (DEC) is a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor specializing in the full-cycle development of mission-critical data centers across North America. With decades of combined experience and a strong portfolio of successful data center builds, our team is committed to delivering high-performance infrastructure that meets the most rigorous industry standards. Our integrated approach brings together design, engineering, and construction expertise to ensure precision, speed, and quality at every stage.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of high-performance data center construction projects in Montreal. This includes overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and client communication from project initiation through closeout. The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination between internal departments, field teams, clients, and consultants, ensuring alignment on scope, quality, timelines, and safety objectives.

A strong candidate will be experienced in managing large-scale, fast-paced industrial or commercial construction projects--preferably within the data center, MEP-intensive, or critical infrastructure sectors. The role requires excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a proactive approach to solving complex problems in the field and office environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Project Planning & Coordination

Lead all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through closeout. Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to finalize budgets, schedules, and scope. Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs. Coordinate project design, procurement, and mobilization activities.

Execution & Oversight

Manage day-to-day operations in partnership with field supervisors and superintendents. Track progress against schedule and budget; adjust plans as necessary to maintain momentum. Oversee subcontractor performance, site logistics, and quality control measures. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address field issues in real-time.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, and vendors. Lead project meetings, issue progress reports, and ensure client satisfaction. Communicate changes, risks, and milestones clearly and proactively.

Budget & Financial Management

Monitor project costs and approve invoices and change orders. Mitigate risk by ensuring adherence to contracts, insurance, and compliance requirements. Provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting to senior management.

Documentation & Closeout

Ensure proper documentation of inspections, punch lists, and closeout deliverables. Compile and submit final project packages, including as-builts and warranties. Support post-completion issue resolution, commissioning, and client handover.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects. Experience in data center, MEP-heavy, or mission-critical environments strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, contracts, and construction law. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.). Excellent leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset.

Certifications (Preferred)

PMP or equivalent project management certification. OSHA 30 certification. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites across Austin.
