Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager with a civil engineering background to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception ( bidding) to completion( project close out). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction management software, and a thorough understanding of project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects within a dynamic team environment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, profitably and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, utilizing construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and project progression Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines Manage all aspects of the project including schedules, budget, resource allocation including labor, equipment, materials, safety and project performance. Hire and supervise sub contractors as needed. Resolve issues, delays, and conflicts that may arise during construction projects. Oversee safety compliance and enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions as necessary Lead project meetings, manage timelines effectively with time management skills, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned Deal with all day-to-day correspondence and manage project paperwork Keep detailed records of project activities, expenditures, and progress. Prepare monthly project billings

Experience

Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of construction processes and industry standards Demonstrated proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and civil design concepts Experience with construction estimating and cost control techniques Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
