Head Office is seeking an experienced and results-driven
Construction Project Manager

As the Construction Project Manager, you will oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of a variety of property and new business projects, including design, permitting, budgeting and construction. You will work closely with General Contractors for new construction projects and will be responsible for projects on existing company buildings, all while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality standards and safety regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, excellent time management, and a deep understanding of construction processes. The successful applicant will be dedicated, personable, eager to learn, and self-motivated to be successful in a fast-paced environment with competing timelines.
The salary range is $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per annum where wages may be scaled based on education and/or experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, detailed project schedules, timelines, and budgets while establishing project milestones, and tracking progress
Assist with the management of multiple projects simultaneously, and helping to ensure that all projects meet goals on time and in full
Facilitate project meetings and other scheduling with stakeholders
Review invoicing and track expenses, ensuring the projects remain within financial limits
Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contractors and subcontractors
Ensure contractors adhere to contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines and solve problems between parties as they arise
Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify work is progressing according to plans and specifications
Help develop systems and processes around new initiatives and find more efficient ways of working as the business grows
Manage final inspections, punch lists, and resolve any outstanding issues
Complete project documentation, finalize financials, and ensure all project files are organized for future reference
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion
Experience with commercial, or industrial construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency with project management software
Strong budgeting, cost management, and financial acumen
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction industry standard
Certifications (preferred but not required):
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
OSHA Safety Certification
