We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. This role requires proficiency in construction management software and a solid background in project management.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop project schedules and timelines, adjusting as necessary to meet project goals.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Review schematics and blueprints for accuracy and feasibility.
Utilize software tools such as Civil 3D, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, ProCore, and other construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets based on project requirements.
Facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and project management principles.
Proficiency in using construction management software such as ProCore, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, etc.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
Ability to read schematics and understand technical drawings is essential.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
