Construction Site Project Manager - Residential (Custom & Luxury Homes)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Construction Site Project Manager
to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of
custom-built and large ultra luxury residential housing projects
. The ideal candidate will have
extensive experience in the housing construction industry
, exceptional project management capabilities and the ability to utilise
modern construction management software
for planning, scheduling, and monitoring project performance.
This role requires hands-on site leadership, strong coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and a commitment to quality, safety, cost control, and timely project completion.
Minimum Experience
8+ years of proven experience
in residential construction
Extensive background in
custom-built homes and large/luxury housing projects
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Management
Plan, execute, and manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through handover
Develop detailed
project schedules
, work programs, and milestones using modern software tools
Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, and timelines on a daily and weekly basis
Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
Site & Construction Management
Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
Ensure proper sequencing of works and efficient resource utilization
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings
Software & Reporting
Use
latest construction and project management software
for:
Project scheduling and tracking
Cost monitoring and reporting
Resource planning
Documentation and progress reporting
Prepare and present progress reports to management and clients
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and construction best practices
Enforce site safety rules and regulatory compliance
Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and clients
Manage approvals, inspections, and handover documentation
Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and transparency
Required Skills & Competencies
Advanced
project management skills
Strong knowledge of
residential construction methods and materials
Proficiency in modern tools such as:
Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent
Construction management and monitoring software
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) - an advantage
Relevant construction or safety certifications
Work Environment
Full-time, site-based role
Involves managing complex, high-value residential construction projects
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-14 months
Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
