Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee building envelope and general construction projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews.

You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Project Oversight

Manage construction and building envelope projects from start to finish

Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies

Coordinate with architects, engineers, building envelope consultants, and trade contractors

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to specifications

Budgeting & Documentation

Track budgets, costs, purchase orders, and change orders

Prepare, review, and update project scopes and work plans

Maintain organized documentation (drawings, photos, reports, inspections, invoices)

Communication & Coordination

Provide regular updates to clients, property managers, strata councils, and internal teams

Manage expectations regarding timelines, scope, and site conditions

Coordinate trade schedules, materials, inspections, and consultant visits

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC, BC Building Code, and envelope best practices

Perform quality checks on envelope components (membranes, flashings, sealants, cladding, insulation)

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in construction project management

Experience with building envelope work strongly preferred

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Proficiency with construction management software

Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environments

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
