We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a deep understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires proficiency in construction management software and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
Utilize construction management software such as BuildTools for project tracking and documentation.
Conduct thorough construction estimating to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
Develop project schedules ensuring efficient workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project implementation.
Monitor progress on-site, addressing any issues or delays promptly while maintaining safety standards.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
Implement time management strategies to optimize team performance and productivity.
Requirements
Minimum two years of CANADIAN working experience in project management or construction coordination field.
Proven experience in construction project management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
Familiarity with construction estimating practices and tools such as HeavyBid.
Proficiency in project management software including BuildTools, ProCore or similar.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while leading diverse groups of professionals.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
