Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and tools, as well as exceptional time management abilities.

Duties



Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of project specifications. Utilize construction management software such as sitedoc , company in house software , procore for project tracking and reporting. Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and resource allocation effectively. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly. Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare detailed reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and any potential risks or delays. Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. Responsible to ensure consistency in work procedures and practices
Project Checklist, Project start, and Close-out

Responsible for data management

Project Colour Schemes, Submittal, and Approval

o Book Appointment with others to facilitate completion and/or review scope and other project documents

Project Foreman Package

Responsible for Quality Control Compliance

Responsible for contract review and execution of the terms of the agreement

Responsible for review of all sub trade meetings and dissemination of the information

Responsible for Foreman with Colour Specification, Clarifications and overall direct support to ensure a positive outcome

Responsible for coordination and management of the Project Deficiency Compliance

Responsible for all LEED Requirements as applicable

Responsible for RFI issuing, follow up, communicating, response and updating records

Responsible to familiarize with project documents including dwg, specifications, scope and all contractual obligations

Project Warranty, Formulas, & Maintenance Submission

Responsible for execution of subcontractor Scopes & to collaborate with others in the office that directly facilitate such work (line painting and wallpaper)

Responsible for ensuring that any additional assignments are managed accordingly

All tasks covered under this scope have timelines that are daily, weekly, monthly and annual responsibilities and must be achieved

Responsible to ensure that there is tracking system and that information is inputted for completion of works and to ensure that painting is on schedule and the overall management of the issued project schedule to track progress

Experience



Proven experience in construction project management with a strong background in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is highly desirable. Experience using construction management software is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams across all levels of the organization.
