Brofort Inc is a leading commercial construction firm specializing in retail build-outs across Canada. We partner with national brands to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget retail spaces. We're seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing team.

Summary

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you'll support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing out retail construction projects. You'll be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules Coordinate permits, inspections, and site access Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Track RFIs, change orders, PO's and submittals Maintain accurate documentation (contracts, drawings, reports) Support budget tracking and invoice processing Organize site meetings and distribute minutes Assist with punch lists, final inspections, and close-out packages.

Qualifications

Experience in construction coordination (retail experience preferred) Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Diploma or degree in Construction Management or related field is an asset
