We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to grow with us.
Who you are:
You are an organized and self-motivated individual who can wear many hats supporting the Project Team. You should be known for a great work ethic and be open to change as we are improving our daily process. The role will report to their Project Manager and communicate accurately and specifically as required for the task, issue, or action at hand.
What you will do:
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with overall project performance including costs, schedule, quality, and project status.
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with Safety and Certificate of Recognition (COR) compliance.
Assist in tender closings and site visits if available.
Assist the Project Manager with issuing subcontracts and monitoring their progress.
Enforce contractual responsibilities with subcontractors.
Involved in all facets of project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance/warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
Manage change order processes, including pricing, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact prior to reviewing with the Project Manager
Administrating RFI and shop drawing process.
Develop performance status reports for the Project Manager regarding cost forecast, schedule, and safety.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Engineering Diploma
Minimum of 4+ years construction experience in an operational role.
Working knowledge of construction equipment/techniques, drawings/specifications, building material and required standards applicable to discipline.
Knowledge of applicable laws and building codes.
Able to establish a strong working relationship with team members, vendors, clients, and consultant.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn MJ Dixon Specific Software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient understanding of construction sequences,
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable in a construction environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
