Construction Project Coordinator

Job Description

Team Construction Management Ltd., a growing construction company requires an energetic, motivated and career-minded Project Engineer/Coordinator responsible for coordinating the execution of all construction activities that take place on the work site, ensuring consistently high standards of workmanship and efficiency all under the Project Manager's direction.

Job duties include:



1. Supervise and Coordinate the Shop Drawing Process

2. Prepare and help maintain site and contract documentation, Subcontracts, RFI's, ASI's, CO's and CR's and redline drawings

3. Stay organized in tasks, delegate when needed, prioritize tasks, manage & track time effectively, monitor site conditions/progress and report back to PM

4. Be able to identify scope changes and react accordingly

5. Completion and filing of site documentation (daily reports, subcontractor meeting minutes, two week look-ahead schedules etc.)

6. Review with Superintendent, manpower requirements and inform PM should a change be needed.

7. Work with Administrator & Superintendent to ensure that deliveries are expedited and coordinated.

8. Assist Superintendent to coordinate work of sub-trades under direction of Project Manager.

9. Coordinate changes to main and subcontracts including communication with Superintendent and ensure documentation updates.

10. Review with Superintendent to ensure material and equipment deliveries are timely.

11. Attend and conduct site meetings the PM is unable to be present for and document minutes.

12. Coordinate and ensure submittal of project closeout documentation.

13. CADD details as needed.

14. Must have general understanding of estimating process and able to perform quantity take-off's

15. Develop, monitor and maintain close out documentation and as-built drawings

Requirements:



1. At least 3 years experience in construction

2. University Degree in related field

3. Strong work ethic

4. Strong communication and problem solving skills

5. Ability to work independently in a busy environment

6. Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.) and email

7. Basic Construction knowledge

8. Sage 300 (Timberline) software knowledge and experience

9. CADD software knowledge and experience

10. Good driving record and possess a valid driver's license

11. Must have the ability to multi task/ work on more than one project at a time

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
