We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that all aspects of construction projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with construction management software.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate project understanding.
Utilize construction management software such as Sage 300CRE, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Projects for project tracking and documentation.
Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for projects.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the execution phase.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
Foster effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
Experience
Proven experience in project management within the construction industry is preferred.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics is essential.
Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as On-Screen Takeoff or Smartbid is a plus.
Experience using CADD or similar software for design and planning tasks is advantageous.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Accounting background is required.
