Construction Project Coordinator

Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a

Construction Project Coordinator

to the team. The Project Coordinator will support the successful delivery of construction projects by assisting the construction team with coordination, documentation, scheduling, and communication between stakeholders.

Responsibilities:



Coordinate and track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and progress reports. Support project managers in maintaining schedules, budgets, and procurement logs. Communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and various internal departments to ensure timely exchange of information. Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance with project requirements. Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates or reports as needed.Help manage project closeout documentation, including as-builts, warranties, and turnover packages. Track and manage vendor WCB coverage & certificates of insurance Maintain organized project files and records to ensure all information is current and accessible. Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and managing correspondence Relaying of Hold/Non-Compliance Information to Accounting to ensure work that isn't completed isn't paid for Enter invoices into Yardi Basic invoice/purchase order matching

Qualifications:



1-3 years of experience in a construction or project administrator /coordinator role Post-secondary education in a relevant field is preferred (Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, etc.), but equivalent training courses and experience may be accepted. Proven project management abilities - able to successfully juggle multiple ongoing projects; Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software; Knowledge of construction processes, drawings, project management concepts and documentation standards. Strong ability to problem solve.

Criminal background check is required; Valid driver's license; occasional travel to local jobsites will be required In-office position
