Job Description
Modular Precast Systems is a business in Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON, that manufactures and installs both structural and architectural precast. Our state-of-the-art facility produces product for Eastern Canada and the Northeast US market. Our goal is to provide the highest quality precast construction components for our clients.
JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent
SALARY: $65,000 - $75,000/annum (subject to experience)
BENEFITS: Medical Benefits Plan (after 3 months), 10 Vacation Days
We are looking for an individual that has experience in the construction and/or construction manufacturing sector. You should be proficient in working independently, and proactively, in a team environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Production in a fast-paced environment. This requires high organizational skills, attention to detail, timely decision making and proactive problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble proposals and bid packages.
Prepare and distribute construction documents per project.
Track and monitor subcontractors and assist in obtaining quotes.
Organize and maintain project files and documents,
Support Project Managers, Sales, and Plant Manager.
Job Scheduling assistance
Greeting clients
Answering and directing phone calls
Purchase Orders through Jonas Software and/or manual forms.
Filing and Organizing
Track and replace office supplies.
Responsible for mail distribution and couriers
Distribution of office memo's
Boardroom scheduling and organizing
General administrative duties
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in construction-related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in a project support role
Minimum 2 years' experience in construction role
Excellent organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and excellent
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize processes.
The ability to read drawings and hardware lists is a plus.
Fluent in English is a requirement.
