Are you a construction-savvy professional who thrives on collaboration, negotiation, and seeing the big picture? Do you understand how smart tendering, strong trade relationships, and strategic planning can drive better project outcomes? If so, Big Block Construction is looking for you.
Company Summary
At Big Block Construction, we're transforming how multi-unit and mixed-use housing is built across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia. By advancing internal capacity for organizations, we're helping build stronger communities--one project at a time.
Why You'll Love This Role
This role is made for someone who knows construction -- how trades work, how timelines shift, and how costs behave. You combine technical insight with strategic foresight to make every project more efficient, consistent, and cost-smart.
You think like a builder
- You understand scopes, drawings, and site realities and use that knowledge to drive better procurement outcomes.
You build partnerships
- You create lasting relationships with trades, suppliers, and modular partners built on trust, collaboration, and mutual value.
You anticipate, not react
- You stay ahead of the pipeline, spotting alignment opportunities across projects and securing resources before they become bottlenecks.
Our Culture at Big Block Construction
Our values define how we show up, how we collaborate, and how we deliver.
RESULTS
-
Own the Outcome.
Win or learn -- either way, we own the outcome and are stronger for it. We follow through, speak up, and finish strong.
ENERGY - Bring the Spark.
Progress requires fuel -- we show up charged, uplift each other and spark momentum. When things get tough, we rally together and keep moving forward.
DRIVE - Do the Work.
Get it done and push onward -- we step up to opportunity, chart the course, and set the pace with care. We take the work seriously, not ourselves.
At Big Block, these values aren't just words on the wall -- they're the R.E.D. heartbeat of how we build differently, share success, and grow together. If you thrive in motion, accountability, and seeing real results, you'll fit right in here
.
