OVERVIEW Hecla owns the majority of the historic high-grade Keno Hill Silver District located in Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Yukon Territory. We\xe2\x80\x99re developing two underground deposits, the Bermingham mine and the Flame & Moth mine. The initial ore production at Bermingham mine was achieved in August 2021 and continues to further scale-up underground activities while the underground development continues at the Flame & Moth mine. Hecla is advancing the district towards full production, and this is a great opportunity to be part of the team that is operating one of the highest-grade silver operations in the world. We are looking for an individual to join our growing team. The Mine Construction Supervisor will report directly to the Mine Superintendent. Your primary responsibility will be the supervision of the mining operations. This is a 14 day on / 14 day off rotation at our Keno Hill Mine in Elsa, Yukon. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and follow instructions.
• Check with supervisor or lead person when uncertain of any procedure
• Perform manual labor in support of underground operations.
• Be knowledgeable in the underground layout.
• Perform pump installation and required monitoring or maintenance.
• Perform fan/ventilation installation.
• Monitor muck sumps as instructed.
• Follow good housekeeping practices.
• Safely and efficiently operate front end loaders, forklifts, scissor deck.
• Safely operate underground light vehicles
• Follow procedures for reporting defective equipment.
• Properly perform all pre-op equipment inspections
• Use basic hazard recognition.
• Perform a proper heading inspection (5-point card)
• Be able to perform complete workplace examinations, pre-operation inspections on mobile equipment.
• Comply with Health, Safety and Security, Environmental and all Company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a construction supervisor position
• A minimum of two years of underground construction experience preferred
• Equivalent experience for external candidates
• Must have experience spraying shotcrete or willingness to learn with various equipment including operating Transmixer
• Prior experience in the mining sector preferred
• Commit to safe work practices
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise & respectful manner
• Able to work in a small team environment
• Expert knowledge of materials, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Must have a strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Able to read engineering construction prints and General Arrangements
