Role Description

We are hiring experienced Construction

Material Handlers/Forklift Operators

to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. This role primarily works with building materials within an inside construction/production environment.

Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery to move items on and off trucks, load material onto buildings etc. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections. Keeps loading areas and machinery clean. Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, assembling kits, delivering production materials, supplies and completing required paperwork where needed. Assists other crews when required.

Experience:

Previous experience operating a forklift Previous stock or inventory experience Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines Excellent time management Process improvement mindset Knowledge of inventory control Ability to lift heavy materials Fluent in English, including reading documentation Familiar with Building Materials is an asset

Location:

This role is office based at our 135,000 square feet manufacturing facility 20 minutes North of Calgary in Crossfield, Alberta, strategically located near a High Load Corridor which allows us to transport loads up to 9 meters high to many parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees live in Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities.
