As MDU Construction Manager, you'll own the on-the-ground delivery of fibre internet infrastructure in new and existing apartment buildings, condos, . You'll coordinate construction timelines, manage subcontractors, oversee quality, and ensure every build is completed on time, on budget, and up to Purple Cow standards.

Expected Outcomes:
Project Execution & Delivery
Lead end-to-end construction of fibre infrastructure in MDU properties
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with milestone tracking and issue resolution
Coordinate with internal teams to align build timelines with customer activation goals
Inventory & Cost Management
Forecast and track materials across active and upcoming projects
Reduce waste, manage procurement, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Monitor construction budgets and drive cost-effective decisions
Quality Assurance & Site Oversight
Maintain high-quality standards across all job sites
Conduct inspections, manage punch lists, and finalize close-out packages
Ensure documentation (photos, as-builts, redlines) is completed and accurate
Subcontractor Performance Management
Work with subcontractors to define and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs)
Hold crews accountable for safety, timeline, and quality performance
Be the field general -- present, engaged, and always driving outcomes
Cross-Team & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary construction contact for internal teams and property partners
Proactively communicate status updates, blockers, and resolutions
Partner with internal stakeholders to align build progress with customer expectations
To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate the following experience:
5+ years in construction or telecom project management (fibre/ISP a big plus)
Strong knowledge of MDU infrastructure and fibre build processes
Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships
Sharp organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel to job sites and work across multiple projects simultaneously
A proactive, get-it-done attitude -- you solve problems before they escalate
Familiarity with construction management tools, spreadsheets, and reporting platforms
