Job Description
Our client, a well-respected litigation law firm in Toronto, is on the hunt for an experienced Construction Litigation Law Clerk to join its growing Construction group. If you have a strong understanding of the stringent timelines associated with preserving, perfecting, and litigating construction liens, we want to hear from you.
What you will be doing:
Assist with construction disputes, including claims related to construction delays, breach of contract, and lien enforcement under the Construction Act. Assist with the drafting, preparation, filing, and service of legal documents, including pleadings, document production, motion records, medication briefs, pre-trail briefs, etc. Assist with trial preparation and examination for discovery. Track critical dates and initiate follow-up action as required. Liaise with clients, lawyers, court personnel, and external parties as required.
What you will bring to the position:
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience gained as a Litigation Law Clerk, with a strong emphasis on Construction Law. Completion of a post-secondary Law Clerk program. Solid knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure. Strong understanding of Construction Law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other legal software.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
