Job Title: Lead Hand - Construction & Concrete

We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on

Lead Hand

to join our team for a long-term career. This isn't a "sit back and watch" role; you will play an active role in the work while taking charge of diverse projects and leading a crew of laborers.

Key Responsibilities

Active Leadership:

Lead by example on-site. You will be expected to perform the work alongside your crew while managing the daily project flow.

Crew Management:

Supervise and direct a team of laborers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Equipment & Transport:

Safely operate company vehicles, including driving trucks and hauling trailers to various job sites.

Project Oversight:

Take ownership of multiple different projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and meet specifications.

Adaptability:

Stay open to new methods and ideas as the company grows and evolves.

Requirements & Qualifications

Driving Credentials:

Must possess a valid

Class 5 Driver's License

with a clean driver's abstract (Proof required).

Experience:

Previous experience in general construction is required.

Technical Assets:

Strong knowledge of

concrete work

and proficiency in operating a

Bobcat and Excavator

are considered major assets.

Physical Fitness:

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and manual labor in various weather conditions.

Reliability:

A proven track record of being on time and showing up every single day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
