Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various bridge building tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople in the bridge construction process. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to minimize hazards. Load and unload materials from trucks and prepare them for use on-site. Help set up scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates willing to learn. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team is essential. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects consistently throughout the day. Understanding of safety regulations in a construction environment is a plus.

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
