Westway Construction Ltd. is looking for a motivated and dependable
Construction Labourer or Apprentice Carpenter
to join our team. This is a great entry-level opportunity to learn the trade and grow your skills under experienced professionals in residential and commercial construction.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with demolition, cleanup, and prep work Carry and stage materials, tools, and equipment Support carpenters with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Load/unload materials from trucks and distribute them on site Perform general job site duties as assigned by the supervisor Maintain cleanliness and safety on job sites
Qualifications:
Some experience in construction or general labour preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks Good attitude and dependable attendance Steel-toe boots and basic PPE required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
Bonus pay Overtime pay
