Westboro Utilities is a leading civil construction company specializing in utility infrastructure projects across Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are committed to delivering high-quality work while prioritizing safety, teamwork, and excellence. We are seeking a committed and reliable laborer to join our utilities team. In this position, you will undertake a variety of manual tasks to facilitate the successful completion of construction projects

Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials and equipment

Excavate and dig trenches and pits, followed by backfilling operations

Mix and or pour concrete

Asphalt work

Operate power tools and equipment

Clean and maintain job sites

Perform any other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in manual labor preferred

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Willingness to work in all weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Valid driver's license preferred

Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
