Job Description

Developments 2 is looking to fill multiple general laborer positions for our Painted Sky Commercial Development in Langdon, AB.

This role is contract based for the duration of the project; approximately 1 year with the opportunity to extend into further projects for the right candidate.

Key duties and responsibility's,

Assist in planning and constructing steel frame commercial buildings. Remove rubble and debris from construction sites maintaining a safe and clean site. Load, unload, and transport construction materials throughout site. Assist with general construction tasks including but not limited to; Installing doors and
door hardware, installing sign backing, painting, fireproofing ect.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety on site working with the site
superintendent and project management team to promote a safe workplace.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age and legally allowed to work in Canada. Must be punctual and able to provide your own reliable transport to and from site. (site
located in Langdon 15-20 minutes east of Calgary city limits)

Ability to work both as a team and in a low supervision setting. Experience in commercial construction or a related field considered and asset Must be physically fit and capable of repetitive task and lifting up to 50lbs Must be comfortable working both inside and outside, on uneven terrain and in
various adverse weather conditions.

WIMIS, First-Aid, or similar safety related training or endorsement considered and
asset

Experience operating skid steer and telehandler considered and asset
Tools and equipment will be provided, however successful candidate will be required to provide their own hard hat and CSA approved steel toe footwear.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
