Construction Labourer
Job Description
LandWorks Excavation Inc, based in Harrietsfield (HRM) N.S requires a skilled Construction Labourer starting Nov 1 2024 to assist in our concrete and asphalt operation.
To be successful as a construction labourer, you should be up to date with the latest technology involving construction work, possess the knowledge and skill of a specialist in the field, and maintain a high standard of work. Your ability to meet job specifications will ensure your success.
As an experienced labourer, you are accustomed to working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. You are hard-working and able to think quickly. You are reliable and punctual because you understand that you play an important role on our crew. You are familiar with job site safety and efficient work habits. You understand that the job is physically demanding although take pride in the results of your hard work at the end of each working day & the conclusion of another successful project.
Responsibilities
Assist with concrete forming and finishing tasks on construction sites. Utilize hand and power tools for various construction activities. Follow blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Able to easily communicate, take direction & execute tasks
-Must be physically fit and hard working
-Accustomed to working in a fast paced, professional environment
-Safety trained & full understand safe, efficient work habits
-Must have your own ppe & ability to get to and from the site daily
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: based on expeirence
Expected hours: 40 per week
Concrete Laborer Requirements:
High school diploma. Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands. Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials. Ability to measure accurately and read specifications.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
