Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction activities including assembling floor and roof systems, building and sheeting walls, installing windows and tubs, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely with attention to detail. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Duties

Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction of new homes in the Steinbach area. Perform general labor tasks including assembling floor and roof systems, building and lifting walls, installing windows and tubs. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and hazardous materials. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is an advantage. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods. A commitment to safety practices on the job site.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.96-$30.18 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
