We are seeking an experienced

Construction Foreman / Lead Hand

to lead onsite operations for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial builds, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage both internal crews and multiple subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations for commercial construction projects Lead and supervise a crew ofcarpenters Coordinate and schedule multiple trades and subcontractors Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors Maintain site documentation, daily reports, and safety compliance

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Foreman, or Lead Hand, in commercial construction Strong carpentry background, experience working on grocery stores preferred Proven ability to manage crews and coordinate trades Solid understanding of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations Strong problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver's license; additional safety tickets an asset (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection)

Work Schedule:

8 Hour shifts (40 hours per week minimum) Day shift and night shift work Monday to Friday Overtime

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
