Credentials:

We are looking for candidates with a 'MINIMUM OF 10 YEARS" work experience worimh on commercial, industrial, institutional projects within the GTA. Must have worked with companies that are familiar with the rules and regulations in Ontario. General construction estimating and a proven track record required.

Must have a reliable and strong connections in the industry with a proven track record. Proof of past awarded projects due to your estimations and knowledge are crucial in the interview process. Must have a current portfolio of clients. Examples of projects awarded will be requested for review.

We are located in Vaughan close to highway 400 and offer a professional work environment with newly renovated offices.

COMMERCIAL - INDUSTRIAL - INSTITUTIONAL EXPERIENCE A MUST

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Construction Project Manager, where your expertise will be pivotal in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to plan and execute construction projects efficiently.
- Lead project meetings, communicate project status updates, and ensure all stakeholders are informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control to meet project deadlines and financial goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure project requirements are met accurately.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to procure materials and services at competitive prices.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong estimating skills

Must be fluent in English with strong reading and writing skills. Computer skills are an asset along with knowledge of Excel and estimating software.
Solid grasp of blueprint reading for accurate project comprehension.
