For our industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential projects, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure successful project execution. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction projects while utilizing your expertise in estimation, pricing, and project management. A strong understanding of construction processes and estimating software is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis to determine accurate project costs.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to negotiate prices and secure competitive bids.
Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules in coordination with project management teams.
Prepare and present detailed estimates, ensuring all aspects of the project are accurately accounted for.
Monitor market trends and material costs to maintain competitive pricing strategies.
Support the bidding process by reviewing subcontractor proposals and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Skills
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors.
Excellent project management abilities to coordinate multiple estimates simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of construction estimating, including cost analysis, budgeting, and pricing strategies.
