Job Overview
For one of our clients, we are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, public bid portals, prequalification, bid submission and possess strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Utilize for accurate project cost estimation
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate pricing
- Collaborate with project managers, team and engineers to understand project requirements
- Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and equipment costs
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
- Negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effective project execution
Skills
- Proficiency in Construction estimating software
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing
- Solid knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Experience:
Construction estimating: 10 years (required)
Work Location: In person
