Civil Estimator Stonecreek Excavation Ltd. is a very experienced and team orientated company that specializes in residential and commercial construction projects. We have been operating in the Okanagan for 5+ years and are an innovative and quick growing company. We are looking to expand our well-established team at Stonecreek Excavation Ltd. We are looking for a mid to senior level Estimator with a background in Civil construction and Engineering. We are seeking an Estimator who is willing to do consulting or contract work for our team at Stonecreek Excavation LTD. If you\xe2\x80\x99re a motivated individual who possesses a high level of expertise when it comes to civil engineering projects, then this position is the right one for you! Requirements:
- Work experience as a civil construction estimator (3-10 years) and demonstrated experience in successfully completing Heavy Civil Construction Projects.
- Vast experience with civil functions such as grading, drainage, underground utilities, and structures.
- Ability to navigate specifications and plans.
- Read and understand drawings and specifications and develop quantity takeoffs.
- Knowledge of latest building codes.
- Excel in delivering accurate and superior estimates.
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of construction estimating software\xe2\x80\x99s and Microsoft office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Very detail orientated and organized.
- Ability to travel to job sites when required.
