We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our construction camp. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and ensure that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties

Assist cooks in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste. Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and keeping track of food items. Support the cooking staff during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery. Participate in kitchen maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and ensuring proper storage of food items.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced cooks. A passion for cooking and an interest in developing culinary skills further.
