About Us

We are a professionally managed condominium corporation seeking a condominium accountant to join our team on a

part-time, remote basis

. Our corporation requires an accountant with strong condo accounting experience who can independently manage full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident, supporting financial discussions at the board level.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) Complete bank reconciliations (operating and reserve accounts) Reconcile credit/debit card transactions Manage accruals for contracts, utilities, and other obligations Track utility consumption (as applicable) Prepare and remit HST filings Process EFT payments to vendors Monitor receivables and owner arrears Issue NSF letters and manage chargebacks Prepare annual budget and variance reports, forecasts Attend virtual board meetings to present financials and answer questions Prepare and file T4s as required Maintain up-to-date owner information records

Qualifications

CPA designation in good standing -

Required

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (

condo experience preferred

) Familiarity with the

Ontario Condominium Act

Experience with

ShiftSuite

or other condo accounting software preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and capable of working independently

Work Details

Remote position 20 hours per week
Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evening virtual board meetings
Contractor or part-time employee arrangements available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $3,300.00-$4,300.00 per month
