Concrete Truck & Pump Operators

Upcoming opportunities exist at South Shore Ready Mix in Bridgewater/Chester for Concrete Truck and Concrete Pump operators. Training will be provided. Some other requirements of these positions include:

- A favorable workplace safety record

- Maintaining trucks and equipment in clean appearance

- Performing minor maintenance tasks on trucks and equipment

- Assisting with mechanical maintenance requirements

- WHMIS and First Aid training

Successful candidates will have favorable customer service and communication skills and the ability to assist customers and contractors in fulfilling their concrete requirements. A good mechanical aptitude will be advantageous for anyone applying. A valid NS Class 3 or Class 1 (preference) driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is required. Prior experience in the construction or concrete industry would be considered an asset.
