Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. We build hog barns doing various construction tasks primarily concrete work. We work out of town 4-5 days of the week, more details mentioned during the interview process!

Responsibilities

Perform preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including foundations, sidewalks, and driveways. Perform concrete finishing tasks to achieve a smooth surface and desired texture. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Set up and dismantle concrete forms as needed for different applications. Utilize hand tools and machinery effectively to complete tasks safely and accurately. Conduct heavy lifting and physical labor as required on job sites. Apply caulking materials to seal joints and gaps in concrete structures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in masonry techniques and installation practices related to concrete work. Strong understanding of concrete finishing methods for optimal results. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for project execution. Experience with concrete forming processes, ensuring structural integrity. Mechanical knowledge that aids in the operation of tools and equipment used in construction. Capability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in the construction industry. Attention to detail when applying caulking materials for effective sealing.
