Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps on various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to designated areas. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.

Duties

Operate concrete pumps safely and efficiently on job sites. Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure proper placement of concrete. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on pumping equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the setup and breakdown of pump equipment as needed. Monitor the flow of concrete and adjust settings to maintain consistent delivery rates. Collaborate with other team members in tasks such as concrete finishing, forming, and paving. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders and concrete pumps. Proficient in concrete finishing techniques and processes. Ability to build and form structures using concrete materials. Experience in digging and preparing sites for concrete placement. Valid class 3 driving license Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
