Greystone Group of Companies We are looking for a qualified Concrete Plant Operator to join our team. ABOUT THE ROLE: The company now has an immediate, full-time opening for a Plant Manager to lead its operations. The Plant Manager has direct responsibility for the plant site including safety, environment, operations, sales, maintenance, inventory management, performance & quality. KEY ACTIVITIES: * Health and Safety - Assist in the implementation and compliance of Greystone Safety Program to ensure personnel are working in a safe manner in accordance with policies and procedures. * Environment - Establish environmental policies and processes, and compliance, as a priority at the site. * Operations - Provide direct oversight of the processing, storage, and shipping of concrete at the plant. Ensure optimal operation and maintenance of all fixed and mobile equipment. Recruit, develop, and manage employees at the facility and foster effective employee relations in a safe and productive work environment. * Quality: Understand the value of quality and ensure processes are in place to provide a quality product to our customers. Utilize best practices to benefit production and delivery.SKILLS/ATTRIBUTESThe ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent leadership, interpersonal, customer service, and mechanical skills. In this position, it is essential to be computer literate and have the ability to organize people and processes. Knowledge of the construction industry is a major asset.
