Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps on various construction sites, ensuring that concrete is delivered efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.

Duties

Operate concrete pumps to transport and pour concrete at construction sites. Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to plan and execute concrete placement. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the setup and breakdown of pumping equipment, including hoses and pipelines. Monitor the flow of concrete during pumping operations to prevent blockages or spills. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while operating heavy machinery. Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including equipment usage and material quantities.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, particularly concrete pumps. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and loader operation is highly desirable. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. A commitment to safety protocols and teamwork on construction sites is essential.
