Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks related to concrete installation and finishing. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on the job site.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of concrete mixtures and ensure proper consistency. Utilize hand tools for shaping, finishing, and installing concrete structures. Operate heavy equipment as needed for tasks such as pouring and leveling concrete. Collaborate with carpenters to construct forms for pouring concrete. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor, including moving materials and equipment on-site. Engage in renovation projects by restoring existing concrete surfaces or structures. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Participate in the installation of various concrete features, including sidewalks, driveways, and foundations.

Experience

Previous experience in concrete forming or finishing is preferred but not required. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Skills in welding or carpentry are considered a plus for this role. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. A willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills related to concrete work is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week
