Concrete Foreman

.

Founded in 1975, ASL is a well-established, multi-sector civil construction company specializing in Earthworks, Residential Development, Site Development, Landscaping, Forming, City Work, Geothermal, and Conservation projects. The successful candidate will oversee and support a team of concrete workers by providing leadership, training, and mentorship. They will be responsible for monitoring project progress, completing timecards, conducting site safety inspections, and managing resources and inventory. The role also requires ensuring all construction activities meet company policies, safety regulations, OPS standards, and City of Ottawa specifications. A strong focus on detail and quality is essential to deliver high-standard results. The candidate will also be expected to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment, along with performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have experience in forming and pouring curbs and sidewalks, reading plans, strong organizational skills and knowledge of health and safety regulations. The ability to keep all on-site personnel and equipment productive working towards project goals is essential.

This position is field based from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
