Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be proficient in various construction techniques. This role involves working with concrete to create smooth, durable surfaces and requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare and finish concrete surfaces, including floors, sidewalks, and driveways. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Install rebar and perform concrete forming as required for structural integrity. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize hand tools for finishing work, including trowels, floats, and edgers. Conduct restoration work on existing concrete structures as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction activities. Apply caulking and other finishing materials as necessary for sealing surfaces.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools. Proficiency in rebar installation, carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing techniques, 3-5 years in the field experience preferred. Familiarity with restoration processes for concrete structures. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing in all weather conditions.
