Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and installation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on various concrete projects while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Duties

Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces. Operate concrete mixers and other power tools safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Install rebar and perform concrete forming as required for each project. Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment for various construction tasks. Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including site cleanup and organization. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Engage in heavy lifting as necessary for material handling and installation tasks. Support renovation, restoration, and hardscape projects as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in concrete finishing with a strong understanding of construction practices. Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Experience with carpentry, framing (metal stud framing), masonry, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and concrete pumping is highly desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately from blueprints or schematics. Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on-site. Previous experience working in a commercial construction environment is preferred. Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
