Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and restoration. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality results. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for executing various tasks related to concrete installation and finishing, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces. Install rebar and formwork as needed for structural integrity. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various concrete applications. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Execute masonry work as required, ensuring quality standards are met. Conduct caulking and sealing of joints to prevent water intrusion and enhance durability. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Perform heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process.

Qualifications

Proven experience in concrete finishing, with a strong understanding of construction practices. Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating tools and equipment effectively. Familiarity with carpentry techniques related to formwork is preferred. Experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of masonry techniques is beneficial for integrated project work. Strong skills in restoration processes and flooring installation are advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and caulking equipment safely. Capability of performing heavy lifting as required by job duties.
